The Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), the public business entity that aims to promote innovation and technological development of Spanish companies, has awarded after a rigorous validation process a grant to the Spanish company Enzyme for the development of the project "Intelligent Data Market Place" (IDMP). The initiative is also co-financed by Feder and CDT funds.
This project is being developed by a multidisciplinary team of experts in Artificial Intelligence technology distributed between Barcelona and the rest of Spain. The project is supported by a committee of independent experts who advise on the development strategies of the platform through their experience and professional background in the health and pharmaceutical sector. |
In a first stage, the IDMP innovation project is focused on developing research and development to enhance the Komombo medical diagnostic solution. This platform provides the technological infrastructure to improve, through the use of artificial intelligence and vision, the diagnosis of rare and infrequent diseases through collaborative mechanisms, while preserving the privacy of patient information. This solution is applicable to any other pathology and sector.
In addition to the Komombo project, Enzyme is investing in the development of blockchain technology and machine learning algorithms to accelerate the development of "Ribosomu" (Data Pipeline Management Platform) and "Smart Vision Platform" (Machine Vision Algorithm Creation Platform).
The initial cost is budgeted at 960K€ and an estimated development time of about two years is foreseen. A prototype will be available for the first clinical trials by mid-2022.
